Kallithea is the most populous village of Chalkidiki during the summer months. It is located on the first leg, in Kassandra. It is 85 km away from Thessaloniki and is the most cosmopolitan place in all of Chalkidiki.
From the center of Kallithea you will pass by car to go to the villages and beaches of Eastern Kassandra such as Pefkochori, Hanioti, Polychrono, Kriopigi, Paliouri, and to parts of Western Kassandra such as Siviri, Fourka, Poseidi, Agia Paraskevi , since in the center of Kallithea there is a large intersection that leads to these two directions. Also very close is Afitos, which you must visit for an afternoon walk.
Its name refers to the beautiful location of the village and the good view to the sea, surrounded by a pine forest. It is the largest shopping center in Chalkidiki as in the main pedestrian street and the surrounding streets you can find many shops such as goldsmiths, fur shops, shoe stores, clothing stores, supermarkets, banks, post office, doctor’s offices, travel agencies, rent a car, fast food restaurants, taverns, cafes, bars and even go-kart track.
